The owner had engaged a shed builder who had failed to complete the project. The base frame was erected, however there were only a handful of walls in place and no roof.

The owner employed a roofer to finish the roof and the roller door company to fit the roller doors. I then finished the external cladding and completed the internal fit-out.

Note: plumbing and electrical works were completed by licenced contractors.

With this project, I quantified the materials needed and they were purchased by the owner.

I was employed on a flat hourly rate and the owner worked with me wherever possible.

The 9metres x 9metre shed was converted into a two-bedroom, one-bathroom dwelling with substantial living space and a loft for storage.
